White Lotus series begins in May

We are pleased to have Lama Tharchin Rinpoche’s teachings on Mipham Rinpoche’s Seven Line Prayer commentary, White Lotus (Pema Karpo), available exclusively to our monthly subscribers beginning in May. About the teachings, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche said:

Although we are all reciting this prayer, most of us are unaware of its deeply profound levels of meaning. Therefore, I decided to teach this commentary of Mipham Rinpoche on the outer prayer and the inner hidden meanings related with each word. Mipham Rinpoche was a great Nyingma master of the twentieth century, and was Dudjom Lingpa’s contemporary. As well as being fully realized, he was considered a supreme scholar in Tibet, a living manifestation of Manjushri. This is truly an amazing commentary that will deepen your understanding of the Seven Line Prayer and be a source of inspiration along each step of the entire path of Dzogchen.

Recently here at Pema Osel Ling, two of our treasured teachers, Tulku Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche and Sam Bercholz, highly recommended receiving teachings on the White Lotus. Lama Tharchin Rinpoche’s teachings given at POL Thanksgiving Retreat in 2005 were produced for limited release in 2006 and we’re excited to be able to make this available again to our wider sangha.
