Vajrasattva Meditation Ritual (Dorsem Drub Thab, aka Ka-Ter Dorsem) by Kyabje Dudjom Jigdral Yeshe Dorje. This recording follows the Vajrasattva daily practice in Lama Tharchin Rinpoche's compilation "Vajrasattva Practices for the Time of Death" with short tsok, without the additional practices for the time of death. We have included the Activity Mantra section for use in performing a Nay Lung (ceremony to guide the dead). Included in the recording:

·        Seven Line Prayer (Tsik Dun Soldeb)

·        Prayer of the Three Kayas (Ku Sum Soldeb)

·        Concise Supplication Prayers (Soldeb)

·        Vajrasattva Lineage Prayer (Gyud-deb)

·        Lama Vajrasattva's Meditation Ritual for Daily Practice (Dorsem Drub Thab)

·        An Overall Admission of Wrongdoing (Chi Shak)

·        Vajra Feast (Tsok)

·        The Prayer that Swiftly Fulfills All Wishes (Tso U Gesar)

·        Remainders (Lhagma)

·        Dissolution and Conclusion

·        Vajrasattva Dedication and Aspiration Prayer (Dorsem Monlam)

According to Lama Tharchin Rinpoche, the practice is complete in its unelaborate form, with the addition of a concise Dharmapala practice after Remainders. However, you may add other prayers, such as Ying Kyi Bhendhar, Tsok Khang Dechen, etc., if you wish.

Produced and posted in honor of Lama Tharchin Rinpoche’s 9th Parinirvana (dechö) anniversary (August 12, 2022).

Text: The main text can be found in Dudjom Sung Bum, Vol. TSHA (18); the English translation and additional prayers and practices can be found in the "Vajrasattva Practices for the Time of Death."
