Lama Tharchin Rinpoche teaches on the Four Buddha Activities (thinly nampar zhi). Rinpoche begins by distinguishing the characteristics of a buddha versus those of a sentient being. The enlightened activities of buddhas are limitless but they can generally be classified according to four activities: pacifying (zhiwa), enriching (gyayba), magnetizing (wang), and wrathful (drakpo). All are used to guide sentient beings toward their own enlightened nature. (Note: At the end of the teaching, Rinpoche is asked to give the oral transmission for the Vajra Armor Mantra. We have left it in but note that the transmission is not received by listening to the recording.)
